Canopius today announces the arrival of John Shaw as Construction and Engineering Underwriter.
John has joined Canopius from QBE Australia where he was Construction Underwriting Manager for Northern Australia.

Canopius underwrites direct engineering and construction risks from its offices in London and Singapore, focusing in London in particular on infrastructure, buildings, power generation and petrochemical construction. Canopius is also a founding member of the Construction Consortium at Lloyd’s (CCAL). With capacity is US$212.5 million on a PML basis, the consortium offers by far the largest Lloyd’s capacity available for this class of business.
