Leading our reinsurance service teams is Charles Cooper, our Global Head of Reinsurance, based in Bermuda.
Canopius is a leading Reinsurance underwriter in the Lloyd’s market. Canopius Re has continued to invest in our London platform alongside our established Marine, Casualty and Property teams by developing areas of Specialty Reinsurance – highlighted by our growing Aviation Treaty portfolio.
Canopius Re is experiencing growth in Sydney, with a new Reinsurance team dedicated to the Australia and New Zealand markets. It also continues to be a Reinsurance leader in Singapore, where it writes a diversified portfolio of Property, Casualty and Marine treaty business for the Asian market. Singapore also serves as the hub for our global Agriculture Treaty business.
Canopius’ Bermuda platform is designed to be complementary to its London underwriting business. Canopius Re is well on its way to expanding its reach and scope in the market with a new team focusing on Property, Casualty and Specialty Treaty business. In addition, Bermuda is home to Canopius ILS, the growing third-party capital business offering investors aligned access to attractive segments of our portfolio as well as market-facing asset deployment.
